The weather is continuing to stay sunny and warm giving us the perfect weather to chill out and take life a bit slower. No we didn’t lay around all day, we just took it at a leisurely pace.

We received several SMSs from the caravan park warning us that the Council would be turning off the water. They did but it was only for about one hour in the end, not the 5 hours that was mentioned. No problem for us since we had one tank full ready.

We were not totally idle as we did some work around the caravan: Chris cleaning and arranging the food cupboards and fridge and Ian repairing a foot rest that keeps losing its screws. Up until leaving we had mainly just wanted to get things into the caravan and had not got around to sorting things out.

Later in the afternoon we went for walk along the Esplanade, this time in the daylight. They have a lovely stretch of foreshore with BBQs, bandstand, covered seating for eating plus artwork dotted along the walk.

In the evening we met with our neighbours around their fire pit, made from a part of a gas bottle. We enjoyed drinks and nibbles while having a good chat.
